| King Abdullah Opens new Technical Military University College |
Militarymedia.net - His Royal Highness King Abdullah of Jordan opened the new RJAF Technical University College for Aviation Sciences. The building will be part of King Hussein Air College. The King of Jordan is the Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army.
King Abdullah was received by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti and the Commander of RJAF. After giving a briefing at the college, King Abdullah congratulated the best graduates of the college's air traffic navigation and control program. His Holiness also inaugurated a renewable energy project at King Hussein Air College, which is one of the largest public sector energy projects in the Kingdom, supplying the electricity grid with a total of 22,000 gigawatts per year.

King Hussein Air College began accepting students in 2015 and holds bachelor's degrees in aviation, air traffic control and navigation. The college will launch additional specialties this year in aircraft maintenance technology, aviation safety, and flight management to meet local and regional market demands. King Hussein's Air College is located at King Hussein Air Base, 3 kilometers north of the city of Mafraq, north in Jordan, close to the Syrian border.
The Jordanian royal family is expected to gradually increase their activities, as the vaccination process for Covid-19 is relatively fast in the country.
